Bargain for Electronics, shoes, clothings & accessories, grocers, personal effects and of course the gold souk!
If you have the time, don't miss checking the old Souk Al-Alawi. Located also in the downtown beside the famous gold souk, at the back.
Everybody goes to Ballad, shopping, window shopping or even no money for shopping at all! Major malls to visit in the downtown are the ever popular Cornische Plaza, beside it the Faisaliah, AlMahmal, Gazzaz for perfumes and toiletries and the Queens Building for electronics and McDonalds.
What to buy: Electronics, Gold, Watches, clothing and local stuff.
