"Calesa Ride" Vigan Transportation Tip by bike_packer

The whole stretch of cobble-stoned Crisologo St. is the main attraction of Vigan. Motorized vehicles are off-limits here, giving the Calesa the exclusive right in this street. The Dept of Tourism (D.O.T.) accredited calesas charge P150 per hour. It is okay though to get half an hour at half the price which i suggest is enough time to go around the block and get your snap shots.

Some enterprising "kutcheros" would offer you to take the Calesa up to Baluarte which is about 3 kms away. The travel will eat up much of your time and nothing special along the way. Much more, it is hot. I suggest that you ride your car instead when going to this isolated attraction.
