On our cruise from Aswan to Luxor we didn't stop to visit Esna, located on the left bank of the River Nile, about 55km south of Luxor.

Still we didn't miss the moment when our ship passed through the sluice of Esna, an important occasion for us to be proud as the works there were done by a Romanian company.
