"Bloody mosquitoes (snakes)" Adana Ili Warnings Or Dangers Tip by ogb4619

Adana Ili Warnings and Dangers: 6 reviews and 2 photos

When the Turks warn you of their "snakes", don't worry, their word for mosquito is pronounced "snake".

These are tiny sandfly sized black mosquitoes who don't know when to go to bed.
My wife and i ended up with bights on all parts of our unprotected body.

Take or buy before your first night), a few bottles of insect repellant.
It will drive you crazy and can make you sick.

I was down with a fever of 39.6 after 2 nights suspected to be an allergy for their bight.

The mosquitoes seem to be even more friendly than the locals.
