We're talking top quality in this wine bar. The friendly owner will welcome you in the cosy ambience and you will be offered an appetizer when sitting down. The choice of food is not too extensive, but well thought and finely prepared. They also have a couple of fixed price menus for around 37 euros, offering a bird's eye view on what this lovely little place can do

Where this place really stands out is in the cellar department. The wine list is so long you can't really read it all in the time that is given to you before ordering, so just follow the owner's advice. Be advised that some of the labels are rare, and therefore have matching prices.

I have gone to this place twice, and have always come out with a smile on my face. Definitely worth the trip, even though it's so hard to find. Book in advance since the place is very popular.

Favorite Dish: Mixed cheese platter - a joy with red wine from Lazio.

Address: Viale degli Astri, 45
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: The area is called Torrino, just south of EUR. From downtown take the B metro line (direction Laurentina), get off at EUR palasport and then take bus 778 for about 20 minutes. Ask the driver for Via del Sole or Via degli Astri.
