Apothecary Guest House: "Bed and Breakfast in the Heart of Haworth" Top 5 Page for this destination Haworth Hotel Tip by kzngirl

We spent two nights in a guesthouse right in the centre of town – along the main street – called the Apothecary Guest House. (Aptly named because of its position right next door to the old fashioned Rose & Co Apothecary.)
Our room was comfortable. Although there was no en suite bathroom, there was a small hand basin in one corner. Murphy’s Law dictates that although you never ever need the bathroom while staying in an en suite, the minute you stay in a room where the bathroom is down the hall, you need it every two hours! In addition to the late night bathroom expeditions, the neighbourhood cats chose the early hours of the morning to serenade the world from below our window! Not the best night’s sleep we ever had, but it was a cosy bedroom with a comfortable bed.
The breakfast was lovely – very filling and tasty. Breakfast is included in the price and includes everything from cereal, to a cooked breakfast to toast and fruit juice. I had cornflakes, a bacon sandwich, toast and jam, tea and grapefruit juice.
The owners were very friendly and happy to recommend places to visit. There was also a small stand in the dining room with pamphlets and places of interest to visit. It's a very central location, ideal to use as a base for exploring the town and the surrounding areas.
