St. John's Cathedral, Warsaw: 10 reviews and 14 photos

This large, gothic cathedral is the oldest church in Warsaw dating to the late 14th century. Like most of the buildings in the Old Town, it was completely reconstructed after World War II. The last king of Poland, Stanislaw August Poniatowski, was crowned here and is buried here and in 1791 he declared the Constitution from here. Inside, you'll also find the tombs of famous writers and political figures (1 zl to visit the crypt).
