We were able to spend considerable time walking along the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. History comes alive as Holyrood Castle lies at the bottom of Royal MIle and after a pleasant stroll, Edinburgh Castle comes into view standing guard over the city. This is the place you will hear tales of intriguing characters: the Bodysnatchers, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Greyfriars Bobby.
Lucky for us we were there on the night of a full moon. While walking during the last moment of sunset, we saw the full moon pop up over the buildings. The evening we were there the buildings seemed to be softly illuminated by colored lights.
