We spent an evening on the Left Bank Au Bistrol de la Montagne. There are trendy restaurants on the Boulevard Germain on the Left Bank. We walked through some of the streets in the Latin Quarter before arriving at this restaurant which caters to groups.

Favorite Dish: We were served onion soup as the appetizer. This was followed by an excellent entre of beef with potato and broccoli for the vegetables.
Dersserts were probably the most memorable: we had a pear that was topped with icecream and chocolate sauce, and the other dessert was an apple tart, followed by coffee. All very good indeed.
Personally, I love to have my coffee with my dessert, especially if it is a pastry. However, that is not the way it is served in France, and that was why I was there: to experience things differently!
