Beacon: "Black Cod Madness in Culver City" Los Angeles Restaurant Tip by raraavis

We recently found a wonderful new restaurant in Culver City. It's called Beacon in Helms Bakery Complex. The old bakery has been turned into a new restaurant/shopping venue encompassing Beacon, a few other restaurants and H.D. Buttercup (the west coast cousin of ABC Carpet / ABC Home in New York City.) The food is Asian fusion. Everything is delicious. Portions are small, so it gets pricey with appetizer, entree, desert, and wine. Outdoor patio area is pleasant all year round, you get a view of the giant plastic breads.
Address: 3280 Helms Ave, Culver City, CA
Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: Helms Bakery Complex
Price: US$41 and up
Theme: Pan-Asian and Pacific Rim
