"Go Sushi" Go Sushi - CLOSED Tip by madamx

Go Sushi - CLOSED, New York City: 2 reviews and 1 photos

In a city full of expensive restaurants, it's nice to know that you can get an excellent meal at decent prices in midtown Manhattan. Go Sushi fits the bill. The sushi is premade fresh that day, and pre-packaged, ready to eat at their tables or to take out. If you want hot food such as Udon or Tempura, order at the counter. They have excellent Udon noodle bowls as well, very filling and hearty. Service can be a little brusque, but the restaurant I was at is very clean, has nice, modern decor, and seems very popular with locals. There are several locations in Manhattan:

982 2nd Ave, New York, 10022 - (212) 593-3883
759 9th Ave, New York, 10019 - (212) 459-2288
3 Greenwich Ave, New York, 10014 - (212) 366-9272

Favorite Dish: I found the sushi to be of good quality, but the rice was a little old, and I don't know if it was just the time of day that I was there. The Chicken Teriyaki Udon bowl was out of this world -- tons of tender chicken breast, and loaded up with noodles and lots of veggies. A very healthy, satisfying meal.
