Krupowki Street is Zakopane's main pedestrian thoroughfare and makes for a great stroll. If you break your leg and can't go hiking or skiing in the mountains, you'll still have plenty to do on Krupowki. On one end you have the market and the cable car to Mount Gubalowka. Coming uphill (very slighly uphill), you'll pass by the parish church, the Tatra Museum, shops, restaurants, bars and always, lots of people. The full length of the pedestrianized street is only about 800 meters, but you could probably spend a few days eating at the restaurants and shopping around here.
