Our first meal out in an evening as a family for years. Michael had frequented this place last year and thought it would be suitable for the family.
Nice and cheerful with good service where we were made to feel really welcome. For a Saturday night it was fairly quiet, probably owing to most of the students not yet having arrived for the new academic year.

A huge plus factor for this place was that even though they were licenced, you could take your own booze, which obviously cut down on the bill at the end of the evening. We paid a small corkage fee which was very reasonable.

The waiters were attentive but not overly so. Just the right amount.

Favorite Dish: I'm afraid I always opt for a rogan josh when eating Indian and this meal was no exception. Yes, it was good, but not overly full of chicken and smaller portions than from a take-away at home. But, heck, we are talking about central Oxford here!!! The breads were pretty good, but again, smaller than we were accustomed to.

Overall, I think for the four of us, we paid very nearly 50.

Address: Central Oxford
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Price: US$11-20
Rating: 3
Theme: Indian

Review Helpfulness: 3.5 out of 5 stars
