Brick lane has plenty to offer the curry lover.

It's a street full of curry houses; consider it, if you will the Indian equivalent of China town. With so many different restaurants on offer the place can be crowded with people trying to coax you into their place with the offers of discounts such as free first drink with your meal. It's fun haggling with them for a while but then, if you're like me, and don't have a particular favourite, it's just pick a place which looks busy.

Favorite Dish: English tradition on eating curries would run down something like this:

Enter restaurant
Order Lagers
Order Popadoms and plenty of chutneys
Pick up menu
Order starters if really hungry but mainly move straight onto the main meal
Main meals come in all shapes and sizes in regard to heat and spiciness:

Mild (for the ladies in your group)
Chicken Korma

Chicken tikka masala

Warming up
Chiken Madras

Thats more like it!
Chicken Jalfrezi
Chicken Vindaloo

Indian restaurants don't do much in the range of desserts other than a few ice creams, Kulfi being the best of these. Normally skip dessert and order a few more lagers!
