  Victoria Tower.... at Victoria Centre
by Heavens-Mirror

Victoria Centre has over 120 shops all under the one roof which makes it great for a shopping spree. It got its name Victoria as it used to be an old train station called Victoria Station, as you can see on the photo, the Victoria clock tower is still there & is the only remaining piece of the station left.

It includes shops such as House of Fraser, John Lewis, Next, Topshop, Disney Store etc. There are lots of cafes & restaurants in Vic Centre aswell as a couple of gorgeous Cookie stores & these taste great. Make sure you try them out.

Victoria Centre is open 7 days a week with late night shopping on a wednesday. During Christmas time there are lots of beautiful decorations around Victoria Centre & it really gets you in the mood for Christmas. Children can also go & see Santa's Grotto here & receive a small gift aswell as a photo with Santa..... i take my little Sister Charlotte every year.

You can get to Victoria Centre either by Car or Public transport. Car parking prices vary depending on how long you leave your car for, prices start from £2.50 for 2 hours parking & £1.00 for every extra hour.
Public transport prices vary depending on where you travel from, you can either get a local bus or the local tram system which runs throughout the main centre of Nottingham.

What to buy: Make sure you try out the Hot Mushy Peas with Mint Sauce at the Fish Market upstairs at Victoria Centre, these are absolutely delicious. I always buy a pot when im out shopping.

There are many things you can buy in Victoria Centre from ladies clothing to mens clothing, jewellery, perfumes, cosmetics, gifts, lingerie, shoes, food & confectionary.

Check out the website below for a list of different stores which are located in Victoria Centre.

What to pay: As little or as much as you like.... you will find that the cost of living in England is not as cheap as most Countries. So if your visiting here be prepared to spend more than usual.
