Golden Lane dates back to the 15 century. It is actualy a nerrow street lined up with 11 small colorful historic houses. It has got the name after the many goldsmith's residing there in 17th c. The most of the houses are now souvenir shops but some are home to an interesting armoury and textile exhibitions. The most famous of all is, however, number 22 for being a home of famous czech writer France Kafka.
