Behind the Falls was another scheduled stop on our list of things to do, so the tour filled our needs perfectly! The shuttle took us to an area where we joined the other groups of people identically dressed in yellow slickers. We were the "yellow slicker people"--- most of us looking like demented yellow ducks.

Looking beyond our silly appearance, this tour took us down a level where tunnels opened to a very close view of the Falls. Water sprayed everywhere and anywhere--the reason for the slickers! One of these platformed areas was tiered and permitted a very wet examination of the Falls. It was a hot day, so the sprinkling was welcome.

There was a big crowd, but the line went quickly so don't be discouraged if you see hoards of people here!

Hours vary with the season. Admission is $8 for Adults, $6 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and under.
