The Old ClubHouse: "A popular pub" Top 5 Page for this destination Buxton Restaurant Tip by bugalugs

I havent actually eaten in this pub but we called in here for a drink with Laura (vt member Hayward68) when she visited us.
When we visited Buxton this time we were going to go in but there wasnt room to breathe even, people were spilling out onto the pavement. Seems a lot of the customers were members of brass bands who were playing at the Pavilion Gardens.

The pub actually until the mid 1980's was a gentleman's only club!
