Stunning Brown County State Park is well known for the amazing fall foliage and majestic views it provides of the Indiana topography. The park is graced with two lakes, an abundance of hiking trails, mountain biking trails, and 70 miles of bridle trails. Camping is available year-round and for the less outdoorsy the Abe Martin Lodge provides lovely accomodations. The wildlife here is incredible including white-tailed ddeer, raccoon, grey squirrel, chipmunks, and a variety of birds including robin, white-breasted nuthatch, bluejay, cardinal, junco, crow, and wild turkey. This is the largest Indiana State Park and is a Hoosier favorite. Families flock here in the fall to take in the amazing array of colors and enjoy picnics at the various vistas. They also offer guided trail rides with horses from the Saddle Barn for a nominal fee.
