Berber villages were isolated from the outside world until the 1900s, and some villages are still only visited occasionally by outsiders simply due to their remote locations.
Therefore you have to respectful when taking photographs and video fottage, ask before you start, and if you don't speak Berber Arabic, then have your guide ask on your behalf.
It is generally the practice to discourage paying for photos/videoing, but some people will insist on money.
Most of the people we asked, simply said 'no'.
