Time to make a jump from the small village of Éze in the Provence to a totally different area and a huge city.... it is time for Paris!

Paris: the famous city... The Eiffel Tower, The Arc the Triomphe, The Seine, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur, Montmatre.... too much to mention! A city that has something for everyone! The city that so many people love... and so did I. Paris is absolutely worth the visit! And you have to stay here at least for a few days, because there is far too much to do and see. And to be honest, a few days wouldn't be enough either, but enough to take in a bit of this amazing city and without a doubt make you visit again and again. From Paris you can also make a nice daytrip to Versailles, but more about that in my general tips.

I was mainly fascinated by the cities architecture and history and the most enjoyable thing to do was to walk around and taking in all the sights and atmosphere of the different neighbourhoods. Of course the food shouldn't be forgotten either, as Paris has a fine selection of good restaurants, serving delicious food, accompanied by a good glass of wine. If the weather isn't all that great, a visit to one of the many museums is a must. One tip I would like to mention before you start packing your bags for Paris is that you should bring a pair of comfortable shoes! Without realizing you probably will walk quite a few kilometres. Paris just makes you want to see more and more of it, making your feet walk on and on and on until they can’t go any further.
