Wigmore's waterfall is not worth going to see. Travel guides will say you can swim there, but in fact, you're not supposed to. When we went there was no waterfall! The mosquitos here are truly fierce. As far as tourist traps go, this is about as bad as it gets in Rarotonga!

Fun Alternatives: Stick to the coast! Or take a drive along the "Metua" or inner road. You will pass picturesque taro plantations and see another side to life on Rarotonga.
