"Beautiful Duomo must see !" Duomo Tip by iwansgt

If you visit Milan, you must spare 2-4 hours to visit this beautiful gothic Duomo located in the central city. If you won't joint in the italian mass celebration, you still can enjoy to explore its beautiful statues (3600 pcs), 164 stained glass windows decorated and animated by 3600 figures etc. You can find Crypt of St Charles Borromeo in the underground (also the baptistery of St Stefano alle Fonti, the most ancient in Milan), and donot forget to explore the balcony-roof. You can use lift for Eur 6 or by foot for Eur 4 to reach the roof. Enjoy the beautiful details of the building ornament and view the whole city of Milan.
Please also note that Milan police always guarding all entrance door and will ask you to open your bag etc (see figure)
