  Monument along US 89
by mtncorg

Long before Lenin raised the Red Banner, Mormon pioneers lived communally with industries, farms, meals and worship all shared. The experiment ran for about a decade from 1875 and was the longest-lived Mormon communalistic experience. This monument along US 89 in front of the town?s LDS church commemorates that history.
