"The Feathers" Seattle Off The Beaten Path Tip by klj&a

Seattle Off The Beaten Path: 294 reviews and 617 photos

This is a popular destination for rock climbers. The Feathers at Frenchman Coulee in central Washington. When you stand back the whole line of columns does resemble feathers on an Indian Head Dress.

This area is near the Gorge Amphitheatre in nearby George in Central Washington state.
The Gorge Amphitheatre is outdoors and so is mainly used in the Summer and late Spring. It's a very beautiful place to see a concert. It's aproximately three hours from Seattle.
