Promenade Hotel: "Watch the sun set over the South China Sea" Borneo Hotel Tip by kyoub

Our suite at the Promenade Hotel in Kota Kinabalu had large windows overlooking the sea.
What a fitting climax to our trip around Borneo. We could sit in our living room and watch the beautiful sun sets over the South China Sea. The problem was it made it very hard for us to leave.

We had enough room to stay for a month. There was a large sitting room with couch, chair, TV sitting on fully stocked bar, writing desk with chair and lamp. A large bedroom with king bed, TV, dressers, and large closet in hallway to attached bathroom. The bathroom had a large tub and a separate shower. Large windows in living room and bedroom provided us with amazing views.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unique Qualities: This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for us. The food was outstanding. The staff very helpful. There was a nice pool and a gift shop that sold the best local chocolate candy.
It was also within walking distance of a mall and several other restaurants.
