Starting at the Alamo, the Mission Trail takes you to the old, historic missions that were founded in the 18th century. They extend way down to the far southeast side. Some of these are still active churches.

Address: 2202 Roosevelt Avenue, San Antonio, TX 78210-4919
Directions: You will need a map since this park is spread over about 800 acres. The Alamo is a good place to begin. Check the website.
