Looking for hotels under 100 Euros per night in Central Paris is quite difficult but Familia Hotel is one of them and it was fine. The location is great, just off Blvd St. Germaine and a couple of blocks from Notre Dame. The first night we were lucky to have gotten a room with a small balcony. That was the best way 'cause it gave us an opportunity to sit and watch the Paris street scene below. Switching to the regular room without the balcony was fine, though. It was clean. Breakfast was included and the help was friendly and English-speaking.

Unique Qualities: Location. Location. Location. Familia is close to the Jussieu Metro stop. The pink line runs to major monuments which made it super easy. If you can afford to pay for the room with a balcony, do it. It's maybe 15 or 20 Euros more, but it might be worth it. Watch out for the weird shower door.
