The first Starbucks was a store in Seattle’s Pike Place Market. They offered fresh-roasted whole bean coffees. The name was inspired by Moby Dick and the seafaring tradition of the early coffee traders.

Since we do not drink coffee, we have never been in a Starbucks. Although they apparently do also have pastries, sandwiches including breakfast sandwiches, salads and ice cream. They are reputed to be expensive. One of the things that people might be interested in is that they have free wi-fi.

Price Comparison: more expensive than average
Directions: United States and Europe
Rating: 0
Theme: Coffeehouse
