Favorite thing: Why walk "The Via de la Plata" is the question that I have been asked the most times !!
Well the answer I suppose is that it was natural progression, as I had previously walked "The Camino Frances and The Camino Ingles and the fact that I was looking for another and longer Camino to walk then the Via de la Plata seemed the obvious choice -- 1,000k from Seville to Santiago de Compostela and practically the whole of Spain in a south to north direction so All sorts of variety of scenery, people, local food, wine and traditions to experience !!
Also fellow V.T. member "zumodemango" had sent me a magazine with the route described and some Wonderful pics -- so Yes I was hooked !!
Was it Good -- YES -- the pics give you some idea -- But the best thing to do is Just do it !!
