In Sochi too there is a consistant network of buslines that are added by the famous (but chaotic) Russian mashootki. These mini van's turned to small busses, drive the same lines as the official city busses. The ride is little more expensive then the public busses, but faster and more frequently running.
Within the centre of Central Sochi, almost all distances can be done on foot, though one should have quite a good walking condition.
