The Atrium is an older 3 star hotel which has been extensively refurbished.
We have stayed here several times and always enjoyed it.
The rooms are light and pleasant with comfortable queen sized beds, kitchette, balcony and all the usual amenities including Foxtel TV.

It has a good restaurant, the Saturday Night Sea Food Buffet being a special attraction. Eat as much as you like for about $40au per person. It includs local seafood such as the Blue Manna Crab, mussels and prawns.
The full buffet breakfast and the Sunday Roast Lunch are also excellent.

Room service is available, but not all night.

There are often special deals in the off season when an evening meal or a full buffet breakfast is included in the price.

Unique Qualities: The Atrium is so called because it has an atrium with a heated swimming pool in the centre of it. (pictures on the website). There is also a spa and sauna.
On the ground floor, the resaurant and cocktail lounge overlook the pool.
All the rooms are accessed by open corridors overlooking the pool, with a glass-walled lift at each end.

Children are welcome here, it's advertised as a 'family hotel'.

As it is not in a large city centre, the prices here are less than in the metro area. See website for current prices.
