I found this restaurant when I wandered around the St. Giles Church. There were quite many locals but I found another Japanese tourist having lunch. It offered some set lunch with the attractive price = 119kc with soup, main dish and dessert.
I found there was 20kc charge, perhaps for service or bread.
Favorite Dish: Main dish: Goulash, Matej Vejvoda, bread dumplings and potato pancake = 98kc
Beer: Svetle - hell, light - Pilsner Urquell 0.5L = 30kc
Dessert: Apple pie with wiped cread and ice-cream = 70kc
The main dish was not really massive but just in the fine portion. The beef in sauce (gravy) with spring onion and yellow pepper was slightly salty but delicious. The apple pie was quite large and I did not expect with wiped cream as well (mine was with ice-cream). The warmth of the apple pie and the coldness of ice-cream were in the big contract and offered a great sensation to tongue.
Price Comparison: least expensive
Directions: walk to the St. Giles Church on Husova Street and keep walking for 30 meters and see the narrow street (turn left) to Jilska Street
Price: less than US$10
