  Castle of Park
by stevezero

This L plan towerhouse stands gaurd over the entrance to the Valley of Luce. It was built by Thomas hay, son of the last abbot of nearby Glenluce Abbey in 1590. The tower has four floors and a garret.
The castle is now private, but can be viewed from outside.

Directions: Near to village of Glenluce, just off A75. Difficult to find this one - no signs
