  Mill of Fleet
by stevezero

The small town of Gatehouse Of Fleet, was laid out to be an industrialised mill town in 1760, for spinning cotton. It was established by James Murray, and the area remains similar today.
It is today hard to imagine dark satanic mills in this peaceful setting by the river. The old mill as been restored and tels the story of the town's past. There are also sops anda tea room.

Directions: In Gatehouse of Fleet
