The London Eye has become quite popular since it opened in 2000. Although it may becoming cliche, I think it is well worth the experience! The views from the Eye are spectacular, especially Westminster Hall.

The "flight" takes about 30 minutes for the entire rotation.

To avoid waiting in lines and wasting time (unless you are being leisurely), is to book your flight ahead of time. Go to the website (www.londoneye.com) and pick your date and time. The ability to choose your date and specific is wonderful. The average cost is £11.25 (I paid £9 by showing an old school ID from a couple years ago).

Definitely take time to experience this ride!
