whenever you are in Yerevan, you will notice this monument almost from everywhere cause its one of the highest places of the city, it calls "haghtanagi Ayki" ( the winnig park) there is a statue which called "Mayr Hayasdaan" (Mother Armenia) . and you will enjoy the best panoramic view of the city.. you can notice the important places from here all at once like the opera building, the Hrabarag (main square) an so on! :) oh and there is a park and restuarant and a place where kids can play.
