"WET AND WILD!" Florida Things to Do Tip by jhorsfield30

Florida Things to Do: 566 reviews and 970 photos

When the hot sun becomes too much, Wet N Wild is the perfect place to cool off. Honored as the number one water park by Aquatics International, Wet N Wild is an amazing experience for water slide aficionados. The park is loaded with a multitude of slides and other water activities that appeal to young and old.

Thrills are Wet N Wild's signature, and there are plenty of them. Blue Niagara takes guests on a twisting plunge through 300 feet of intertwining tubes to a splash landing, while The Bomb Bay, voted the top thrill ride in Orlando by Orlando Magazine, includes a 76 foot vertical drop to splashdown. Additional thrills include The Storm, which spins and splashes guests around a giant open bowl and Knee Ski, which allows guests to test their kneeboarding skills on the Wet N Wild lake.

In addition to the slides already mentioned, there are many opportunities for the whole family to enjoy the wet wildness of Wet N Wild together. Bubba Tub invites guests into a four-person raft to enjoy a rollicking ride on a triple dip slide. The Surge sends five passengers at a time through a never-ending maze of twists and turns, The Blast sends groups of two through a colorful splashfest that will soak you to the core. There is also a full Kid's Park at Wet N Wild, complete with a giant sandcastle, kiddie pool and specially sized beach chairs. Wet N Wild also features a winding Lazy River and a newly upgraded wave pool that features some of the most powerful waves Orlando has ever seen.
