  Palazzo Agostini
by croisbeauty

The 15th century Palazzo Agostini is the only still remaining of the typical Pisan brick-houses, adorned with sculptures and reliefs. It has beautiful facade with rich terracotta decorations. During the period of Risorgimento, the palace housed the Caffe dell'Ussero, a famous meeting place of the local patriots among whom many died in the battles of Curtanone and Montanara.
