Favorite thing: Here on the Okef Priem trail (#4 and marked in red) you wil pass through territory used by the Bedouin for their herds.
The first picture shows you the red marking with the white on the outsides to make it stand out more in the desert.
The second picture shows the point on the red marked trail where you can spot one of the many Bedouin villages in the area around Arad.
The third picture shows two Bedouin herder girls we met on the trail, they with their sheep, goats and donkeys, we with our backpacks. They were kind enough to allow me to take their photo. If you are lucky enough to meet up with some Bedouin you may just be invited for a cup of tea or coffee with them.
The fourth picture shows one of the plants they may use to "spice" the tea or make the tea entirely from this.
The last picture has a land snail, closed and sealed to the rock for the hot summer months, only to come to life when the rains start and there is food (plants) for it to eat.
