  Maori Culture
by ATXtraveler

Maori Culture is rich with history and tradition, and Rotorua is the place where it is cultivated and celebrated. From the TeWhakareWarea Thermal Village to the Tamaki Maori Village, Rotorua residents do their best to bring you the history and culture first hand!

To build on this, there is also the great natural phenomenon of volcanoes, which both bring beauty and destruction together, as is the case of the eruptions that covered the famous Pink and White Terraces, which until the late 1800's were considered the 8th wonder of the world!

Sarah and I spent 2 nights here, and that was not nearly enough!
