  Lamb chops at Parkway
by Roadquill

The Parkwar Grill in Pasadena is a classy place with one ot the top wine lists in LA. Kind of an older crowd. Light jazz in the piano bar. The piano player kicked it up a notch in the evening. Entree's are around $30, plus a salad, wine and you are easily at $60 per person. On the good side, at our table of eight, everyone enjoyed the food. It was kind of crowded and noisy. While I enjoyed my lamb chops, I had to send it back as it was not served hot. OOPS! The wine list is impressive, but there is not a basic bottle of local cab you can get for say $30. So I got a glass of cabernet franc by the glass that was delicious.

Favorite Dish: Once the lamb was served hot it was very good.
