  Dunblane Cathedral, near Stirling

Dunblane Cathedral is one of Scotland's finest medieval churches. the lower oart of the tower is Romanesque, but the upper part is 13th century. It is interesting to see the different coloured stones in two layers.
The cathedral was restored in the late 19th century, having been roofless for hundreds of years. This can be seen in the weathered interior of the church.
