"The Capitol" Capitol Building Tip by el_ruso

Capitol Building, Washington D.C.: 170 reviews and 431 photos

The immense yet elegant Classical building houses the US Congress. If you survive standing a long time in line to visit, you will see the beautiful and inspiring central room with a huge dome and paintings. Other than there is not much to see. You can see a small room with models of building proposals and info on how difficult the life was here when the city was founded.
