Enter through the courtyard; then proceed up the steps on the right to the Communal Collection of Fine Arts (Collezioni Comunali d'Arte), founded in 1936, which includes many paintings and furniture from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Another section, the Museum of Giorgio Morandi (Museo di Giorgio Morandi), is devoted to the works of this famed painter of Bologna (1890-1964).

Open: Tues-Sun 10am-6pm. Admission: Each museum separately, ? 4,00 adults, free for children 14 and under.
