As part of the Museum of Natural History , the Rose Center (Hayden Planetarium being a part of that) is a worthy stop ...on certain Tuesday evenings at 6:30 there are shows beyond the usual flashy presentations given during the day...in early August I attended one such showing where ,among other things, the "New Planet" was discussed, its orbit shown etc. These Tuesday events are perhaps more for the true Astronomy buffs and are not well publicized. The cost was $12 for a non-member , $10 for a member of the Planetarium.
