Scarsdale Cottage Inn: "First Class Bed & Breakfast" West Newton Hotel Tip by Robachu1

I went to West Newton for only one reason, to visit my friend from college. I searched the web and found then selected the Scarsdale Inn because of its proximity to my friend's house.
Boy! Was I lucky! The Scarsdale Cottage Inn is superb. The owners, Gary and Lynn Santimyer, who live next door, have created a beautiful and comfortable home away from home for the weary traveler.
Gary was kind enough to greet me when I arrived. He showed me around the beautifully restored 1890's Victorian home. He then gave me two sets of keys which included keys to my room and to the back door. Then he basically said "Make yourself at home" and left the house to me. Later that night two other guests from Washington DC arrived but that didn't change the feeling that this was my house for the two days I would be in West Newton.

Unique Qualities: Aesthetically this B&B is perfect. The furnishings are beautiful and my bed was extremely comfortable.
There is a pool in the backyard, which I unfortunately didn't have time to use and the garden is lovely.
Breakfast was very good and prepared by a very nice and attractive young lady. She along with the pleasant conversation I shared with the two other guests completed the "Home away from home" feeling.
