The small town of Largs are located northwest of Glasgow,at Ayrshire coast of the Firth of Clyde.

Now this nice and quiet small town, has envolved as a genteel retirement resort, and specially during summertime, you can practice here all kind of water sports including sailing boats. There is also a ferry service between Largs and Great Cumbrae Islands. From June to August,Largs Pier is a regular calling point for the Waverley, the world's last sea going paddle streamer.Largs has also two nice golf clubs.

I have some good friends living here: Julie and Colin.I met Julie many years ago in Benidorm, she used to go to the hotel where i work for many years. She picked us from our hotel in Glasgow and we spend a full afternoon and night at Largs. Thanks Julie and Colin for your hospitalitiy!! i felt like at home at Largs!!! and i enjoyed my visit to this nice town very much.

This is a partial view of Largs.
