The CAT is the high speed train that runs to and from Vienna Airport to Landstrasse/Wien Mitte. Tickets can be bought from the machines for 9Euro or online for 8E.
If you are flying with Austrian Airlines you can also check in and receive your boarding pass At Landstrasse/ Wien Mitte City Air Terminal.
It is possible to find cheaper ways to the city centre from the airport, ie with the 'S' train for just a few Euro but the CAT is still cheaper than a taxi which would cost you around 30E.
The CAT is easy enough to find at the airport - it is very green!!! Look for the green ticket machine and follow the green signs. Trains are very frequent and reliable - and have plenty of space for luggage!
