The King George Inn: "A cheesy yet, royal deal" Port Colborne Hotel Tip by epicult

  It's nicer than it looks

I believe this was once an old city hall, post office, courtroom and something's now converted into a hotel/pub. For $89-$109 a night, you can't go wrong. Good beds, clean rooms beautiful bathrooms and free parking. Everyone is quite nice too.

The decor is a little cheesy as the name of the place says it all.

The hotel is downtown, close to the waterfront and within a short walking didtance to all town amenities. To boot it would be a good cheap place to stay for those wishing to explore Niagara Falls, Niagara on the lake, Welland or any other place nearby... at a fraction the cost of most hotels.

Unique Qualities: Free breakfast/snacks (whenever you want) downstairs in the basement. Fruit, cereals, muffins, coffee, water, juice, etc., make the deal even more attractive!

Free internet access in the basement as well.

Nightlife and even the (on premises) relaxed pub downstairs is not so exciting so ask for the $89 room with the door to the roof. It gives you access to two levels of roof . Great for creating your own atmosphere, enjoying a bottle of wine or a few beer at night.

Address: Downtown
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Price: US$40-80
Theme: Hotel
